Included here more for nostalgic reasons than as an example of my sewing skills. Yoda was made without a pattern when I was in the 7th grade, making me about 13 years old or so. I talked the teacher into letting me make a "freeform" project for the final, rather than some boring article of clothing. Besides, The Empire Strikes Back had come out recently and had been burned into my head.

I still have Yoda in my bedroom, including that original found-in-the-yard stick standing in for his cane. Obviously I would do a much, much better job at the Jedi Master these days... and might even use a pattern, too!
