Those as ancient as I am might recognize this gang as characters from Berkely Breathed's Bloom County, one of the funniest
comic strips ever. Depicted here in full Presidential candidate glory are Mike Binkley, Milo Bloom, the Purple Snorklewhacker,
Opus, Portnoy, Bill the Cat, Hodge Podge, and Oliver Wendell Jones. Next to Oliver is his sentient Banana PC Jr., looking
upon Oliver admiringly.
All were entirely scratch-sculpted using Sculpey and painted with acrylics, then gloss-coated,
apparently. I sculpted these around the time of the Bill 'n' Opus campaign. That makes these about 20 years old!
